Welcome to celebrate Christmas in a genuine way here in Storforsen. We give you plenty of time to really enjoy each others company. We are situated in the middle of the masterpiece of mother nature. It is breathtaking. Not enought with this; we have decorated the hotel and lit lots of candles. Enjoy the swedish Christmas traditions, the special atmosphere and the fantastic food and meanwhile forget about the Christmas stress. Simply; keeping the good things, forgetting about the bad things. This is what we call a merry Christmas!
The 23rd of December
Arrival and check in after 2.00 pm. The path to the wooden "kåta" is lit by candels and we gather there for a swedish mulled wine (Glögg). Take the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, why not take a ride with the horse sled. In the evening a lovely 2-course buffé dinner is served in the restaurant. With the breathtaking view to the rapids. There will be a warm, cosy fire in the fireplace.
The 24th of December
Today Santa Claus comes to visit! But before that, you will enjoy a nice breakfast with porridge, fresh bread and a lot more. Thank take a wonderful walk up along the rapids with sparkling torches in your hands. At 3 o'clock we will sit down and watch TV "Donald Duck presents his Christmas classics". No thoughts about the cooking and setting the table on time. We will dance around the christmas tree, then a christmas buffé will be waiting, with all kinds of swedish christmas specialities.
The 25th of December
The church service will be held in our chapel for those who wake up early. For all of us there will be a wonderful breakfast buffé waiting!
During your stay here, you can use our sauna, pool and gym at any time during the opening hours (closes at 11 pm).
